Beautiful beach on a great day. This was our camping site; quite the step up from Cloverdale!
Didn’t need to lock it when he was around.
Crescent City, planning our route at a local taqueria.
Getting close to our second stop.
Despite a twisted relationship with this desolate heat scape turned to a vineyard servant of the industry, we chose this as our first stop in route. For a cement slab, it was charming. The folks managing it were great and gave us a nice wide spot.
Staging in Felton, we load The Boat.
The three of them had a blast on these machines.
Sara, Jessie and Kendra (Sara is driving) in Vermont at Terry’s. They spent a couple of hours towing each other all over the property. Pretty fun to watch (I got on one too and they are fun machines).
One of our favorite hikes is following this river. It has two forks that run through a canyon. We follow one up and then the other back down after climbing up and over the hill. The sound and especially the smells make it just wonderful.
Just peaking through the canyon.
