On this drive the wind was overwhelming. The Boat swayed. Whole towns were lost to it. Here we see what it has done to the flag. It gave new meaning to gale force.
We were starved and had been driving a long way. There are two things that became clear about Oregon’s coast: wind and wood. The wind can be fierce and the logging incredibly prolific. This town did have a couple of quaint places and we ended up at a sports bar of sorts. Gotta love the sign.
They really loved it here.
